Introduction

PARKnSHOP is one of Hong Kong's largest supermarket chains, serving 1M web and 160K app users.

With Hong Kong's population at 7.5 million, nearly 1 in 7 use the platform.

PARKnSHOP is part of the A.S. Watson Group, which also owns UK retail brands like Savers, Superdrug, and The Perfume Shop.


My Contribution

My role spans the entire end-to-end design process

As a UI/UX designer at EY Mtel, embedded within the PARKnSHOP UX team, I collaborated cross-functionally with teams across all departments.

My responsibilities spanned the entire design process — from concept development and interface design to usability testing, design hand-off, and QA.

Timeline

Process

Focused on addressing user pain points across five critical journeys

Through surveys, user interviews, usability testing and stakeholder workshops, we identified key user needs and journeys that formed a solid foundation for our redesign.


Results

User-centred design producing user experience imporovements, internal alignment and business outcomes.
